Welcome!

My name's Anthony Golledge and I created this course to help you get your message across at work more persuasively, with more impact, and with greater clarity.

Why Boost Your Business Writing?

I've worked with all sorts of different people over the course of my career - I've been a software engineer, a management consultant and a business executive. And what I've noticed is that people have fantastic ideas, but when it comes to writing, they don't know where to start, what to write about, or how to engage their readers.

What will you learn?

So in this course, you will learn ten techniques that you can use right away to boost your writing. I'm confident you'll see results right away, and you can easily incorporate these techniques into your existing writing style. And as with anything, the more you use them, the better you'll get!

What difference will you see?

Now in my experience, people who can write and communicate well get taken more seriously at work. They come across as more knowledgeable - and they get listened to more. These are all critical in getting results in business.

Let's get started!

So if you're ready to boost your business writing, you can sign up for the course right here. Can't wait to see you on my course sometime soon!

About me

I've spent most of my career in corporate life, reading and writing thousands of reports, proposals and presentations.

I have an MA in Experimental Psychology from Oxford University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Technical Communication from Sheffield Hallam University. I've worked for IBM, Accenture and BAE Systems as well as several smaller businesses. As a consultant, I've worked for many large, international businesses and public sector bodies. I've presented at international conferences and been interviewed by the BBC and Financial Times.

Before starting Storyboardr I was a VP running a global pre-sales and proposals team in the secure identity business.

We are all writers

All of us write in our day to day work, but most of us have never had training on how to write well. I don't mean writing professionally, but considering how much we rely on written communication even in today's digital and dynamic business world, that's surprising.

I've trained over 100 people to write more persuasively, from a wide range of backgrounds. Whatever you do, and whatever you want to do with your writing, I'm sure you'll learn new techniques that will help you improve. And if you're 'just not a natural writer', let me prove you wrong!

Who's this for?

Consultant, team leader, software engineer, security expert, finance specialist, project manager, marketing analyst, operations director, HR business partner, engineer, designer, facilitator, customer support manager, data scientist, sales director, bid writer, accountant, knowledge manager, trainer.

In fact, anyone.

Most of us have to write at work, and most of what we write has a purpose - to persuade, inform, excite, reassure, challenge or guide. Maybe you only write emails or Slack messages. Or maybe you create presentations and reports. Whether you're a specialist with tons of technical knowledge you need to get across to a less expert audience, or you're a confident communicator looking for the edge, this course will help you get results - whatever you're writing.
